On October 4, 2018, “5^th October – International Teachers Day” was held at “Dunya” school of Khazar University. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, delivered a speech at the event talking about being a teacher and congratulated the teachers.

Aygun Aliyeva, Deputy head of Binagadi region Executive Power, Mirza Jafarzadeh, Deputy chairman of Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union Committee, Ramiz Goyushov and Elman Dadashov, Heads of departments at the regional Executive Power, Almaz Hajiyeva, chairwoman of the Binagadi region committee of Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union, and representatives of educational institutions operating within the area of the region attended the event.

Classical music numbers were performed at the event by the Chamber Orchestra of Khazar University.
