Two brothers, Tamerlan Abdullayev and Tugay Abdullazadeh, from Laki settlement, Aghdash region, scoring the same points on the same group, entered the same school at Khazar University, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Tamerlan is a graduate of school #6 at Laki settlement. He studied at Technical, Natural and Humanitarian disciplines Gymnasium named after M.Sheykhzadeh for 5 years in Aghdash region. He was awarded a bronze medal at math Olympiad when he was studying in IX grade. Moreover, he was awarded a gold medal when he finished the secondary school. At the entrance exam, he scored 690 points and entered university, a speciality of Computer Engineering.
Tugay Abdullazadeh started school at Technical, Natural and Humanitarian disciplines Gymnasium named after M.Sheykhzadeh. Then he passed an exam at Aghdash Private Turkish Lyceum (is not functioning now) and was transferred from V grade to directly VII grade. After one year, he continued his education at school #6 in Laki settlement. During his education at this school, he regularly participated in Olympiads and succeeded in getting a final stage of a competition. He was awarded a medal twice. He also finished the school with a gold medal. At the university entrance exam, like his brother, he scored 690 points and entered university, a speciality of Computer Sciences. Both parents of the brothers are teachers. Their father, Sabuhi Abdullayev, and mother, Gulnara Mammadova, are Azeri Language and Literature teachers with graduate diplomas.
