On September 30, 2018, a selection round for a title of the best reciter of Mammad Araz poems was held at “Zakalar” Lyceum #287, located in Khatai district of Baku city, within “Mammad Araz Poetry Day”. The Director of the school, Aygun Ahmadli, PhD in Biology; Khayala Taghiyeva, Azerbaijani Language and Literature teacher; and Gardashkhan Azizkhanli, Instructor of Khazar University and project leader of “Mammad Araz Poetry Day”, constituted a jury before which pupils recited poems. Abulfaz Rzazadeh, Nazrin Aghazadeh, Nijat Samadov, Nilufar Taghiyeva, Aydan Mehdiyeva and Shabnam Hashimli conducted an outstanding performance. They will perform in the final ceremony, III “Mammad Araz Poetry Day”, dedicated to 85th jubilee of Mammad Araz, which will be organized jointly by the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Writers Union, and Khazar University.
