A monograph entitled “Participation of southern immigrants in the socio-political life of Azerbaijan: 1947-1991” written by Assoc.Prof. Khagan Balayev, PhD in Political Sciences and Lecturer of the Department of History and Archeology of Khazar University, has been published by “Science and Education” publishing house.

Based on written sources and hundreds of archive documents recently introduced to open research, the author studied, for the first time in Azerbaijan political studies, life and activities that cover half a century, of political immigrants who moved to Azerbaijan SSR after the overthrow of the national power by Iranian military forces in South Azerbaijan in 1947.
