On July 10, 2018, a ceremony was held at Khazar University to award a group of employees for their productive activities based on the 2017-2018 academic year results. Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector of the University announced the names of those awarded, and presented plaques of appreciation to Aygun Verdiyeva, Vice Dean of the School of Education; Valida Kerimova, Vice Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Vafa Aslanova, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Leyla Salayeva, Assistant of the Division for Graduate Students and Research; Khanim Nebiyeva, Dean’s assistent of the School of Economics and Management; Tahir Mammadov, instructor of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Ilkin Alizade, Assistant of Information Technology Department and Alirza Balayev, Deputy Editor of Khazar Review journal.

Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees; Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice President of Khazar University for Academic Affairs; Irada Khalilova, Vice Rector for Research; Elza Semedova, Dean of the School of Education and Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences delivered speeches at the ceremony and talked about the professional and personal qualities of the awarded and wished them success in their future activities.
