On June 1-7, 2018, a summer school “Promoting Migration Studies in Higher Education” was held within Erasmus+ (PROMIG, 573554-EPP-1-2016-1-GE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) project at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Ulkar Bayramova, project manager of Center for Development of Khazar University, participated as an instructor at the summer school. Moreover, Elmar Mustafayev, Coordinator of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Rovshan Karimova, Instructor of the Department of Geography and Environment as well as a group of MBA students participated in the summer school. Representatives of the Baku Engineering University, University of Alicante (Spain), University of Oldenburg (Germany), WUS-Austria (Austria), as well as representatives from Georgian universities and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan, also joined the summer school. Within one-week summer school, tutors conducted trainings for students. On the last day of the training, students delivered presentations and were certified. Khazar University instructors were certified as tutors of the summer school. Besides, the next dates of the summer school, quality management of the project as well as other issues were discussed in a project management meeting held over the course of the summer school.
