On July 2, 2018, Turkey-Azerbaijan friendship concert was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan on the organizational support of the Turkish Embassy. Erkan Ozoral, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, delivered an opening speech at the concert. After his speech, a concert by Lala Huseynova, a musicologist and Dean at Azerbaijan National Conservatory, started.

Khazar University Chamber Orchestra, guided by Zulfiyya Sadigova, a pianist, Head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts, Honored Teacher, accompanied Vasif and Jeyhun Allahverdiyev, brothers, Honored Art Workers, who performed songs and romances. Lala Mammadova, Honored Artist, Kamala Nabiyeva, Ayan Gurbanova, Agshin Abdullayev, Aynur Isgandarli, and Miralam Miralamov acted as soloist. Araz Fataliyev and Murad Naghizadeh played the zurna and the drum respectively.

At the end of the concert, Hadi Rajabli, Chairman of the Committee for Labour and Social Policy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a speech talking about Turkey-Azerbaijan friendship and praising Khazar University, the soloist and Chamber Orchestra.
