On June 28, handicrafts made by the students of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences were demonstrated in “Marble” hall of Khazar University. At the exhibition dedicated to the completion of the academic year, handicrafts (models, graphic calendars, journals, catalogues, videos) created by students under the guidance of their instructors – Anar Asadov and Kamran Asadov, designer-artists, were demonstrated. The exhibition was attended by the University administration headed by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, deans, heads of departments and teaching staff.
Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts, opened the ceremony and gave the floor to Afag Karimova, Head of the Department of Design, who remarked that students had made a huge effort for the exhibition and produced quality handicrafts.
Standing by their stand, students informed the University administration and staff about their handicrafts and answered questions. Watching the handicrafts, Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli made recommendations to the students.
In their speeches, Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Anar Asadov, Instructor, highly appreciated students’ works and wished them success.
