On July 2, 2018, the training “Revenue management in resource-rich countries”, held by the Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub at Khazar University, successfully ended. During the eight-day training, local and international experts delivered presentations on the topic for the trainees. Moreover, the trainees visited the State Oil Fund.
At the closing ceremony of the training, Ms Simone Haeberli, Deputy Regional Director of Swiss Cooperation Office in the South Caucasus & Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Switzerland, Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector of Khazar University, Ingilab Ahmadov, Director of Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub, and Galib Afandiyev, Director of NRGI Eurasia, delivered speeches at the ceremony emphasizing their belief that the trainees would contribute to the development of their countries using the knowledge and experience gained at the training.
It should be noted that representatives of civil societies, media and private sector from 6 countries of Eurasia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan, participated in the training.
At the end, the trainees were certified.
