On June 11, 2018, the Azerbaijan State News Agency – (AZERTAC) posted news about the publication of the book of selected poems entitled “You are the beginning, the present and the end of mine” by Gardashkhan Azizkhanli, instructor of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature of Khazar University.

According to the news, the new book, released at sixties anniversary of the poet, includes selected poems from author’s previous books entitled “Between eyebrow and eyes”, “When passed 37 years old” and “From where the heart looks at”. The poetic “Divan”, which has been published in 1000 copies, includes poems about love, motherland, art, life and world. The book is noteworthy for its distinguished design, which also has a second name similar to the first one in terms of content: “You are in the beginning, the present and the end of mine”.

The chapter “Polyglot” of the book, contains Gardashkhan Azizkhanli’s poems translated into the English, German and Russian languages as well as poems by J.W. Goethe and H. Heine translated by Gardashkhan Azizkhanli.
