On June 4, a Chinese delegation from the Institute of Philosophy of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) visited Khazar University. Khazar University Founder, Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, as well as its Rector Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Vice Rectors Prof. Mahammad Nouriyev, Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, Dr. Isakhan Isakhanli, and Deans Assoc. Prof. Elza Samadli, Assoc. Prof. Jabir Khalilov, Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov and the Head of Division for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev participated in the meeting.

Following a brief introduction about Khazar University presented by Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev, representatives of the Institute of Philosophy of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) – Associate Professor Zu Chun Ming of Research Center for Cultural Policy, her colleagues Professor Cui Wei Hang of Institute of Philosophy, and Professor Li He, Deputy Director of China's National Center for Cultural Studies introduced their institution and expressed their will for future collaboration in the fields of education and research; cultural exchange, tourism and student exchange.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Isakhanli presented the guests his book of poems in Chinese and his article about China “Major Rivers Flow from the West to the East: Azerbaijan and China”. In its turn, the guests presented a book - special edition of CASS dedicated to Confucian philosophy.
