On May 25, 2018, delegates of TRIZ Cup International Inventors Competition met with instructors and students of the School of Education and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Altshuler Herich Saulavich, a prominent inventor, was the founder of Institute of Invention which was founded first time in Baku in the 70s of XX century. He was also the author of the theory of the resolution of invention-related tasks (TRIZ). Herich Saulavich’s anniversary was held in Baku in 2016. In the anniversary ceremony, it was suggested pupils and students of Azerbaijan should participate in TRIZ Cup International Competition. In 2017, Azerbaijani pupils and students participated in this competition and were awarded special diplomas.
Two students of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the School of Education of Khazar University, participated in TRIZ Cup 2018 International Competition this year. Aytaj Salmanzadeh, the student of the School of Education, took the third place in "Fantasy" nomination. Namig Aliyev, Director of TRIZ Cup International Competition for Baku, presented the winner with a Certificate. Aleksandr Khakimov (fantasy writer) and Rustam Huseynov (Art director), members of the competition delegation, congratulated the winner and encouraged other students to join the competition in the following years.
Then students discussed the establishment of the team of Khazar University for participation in the competition.
