On June 1, 2018, 1^st International Conference “One Health: Problems and Solutions” started in “Marble” hall at Khazar University. Planetary Health Alliance of Harvard University, which includes Khazar University and other well-known universities, announced its annual conference as “Partnership event” which is to be held at the same time at University of Edinburgh, UK (https://planetaryhealthannualmeeting.org/satellite-meetings/).

This Alliance is financed by The Rockefeller Foundation and includes more than 95 universities, state organisations and research institutions.

More than 30 experts from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Georgia, USA, Canada and Switzerland are participating in the conference.

Assoc.Prof. Irada Khalilova, Vice-rector for Research of Khazar University, delivered an opening speech and gave the floor to Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University, and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees. In his speech, Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli stressed the international importance of the conference and wished success to participants.

Then report deliveries started according to the conference program. The conference will continue on June 2 and will end on the same day. The closing ceremony will be held in “Marble” hall.
