On initiatives of THE SAME team, Khazar University students expressed their views on online hate speeches on the social network. Thus students commented on a real online message containing hate, and they called people for friendship and equality. In order to eliminate these kinds of messages, THE SAME team, which consists of students of the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University, take some measures.

There has been an increase in the number of tourists in Azerbaijan. Intercultural differences, as well as the rise of people belonging to different races, cause disturbance for some people in Azerbaijan who become nervous and hate people with different race. People share their negative views on the social network. This in its turn increases the percentage of online hate speeches on racism.

In order to struggle against racism, the aim of THE SAME team is to take measures to persuade people in equality of all races and decrease the number of online hate speeches.

THE SAME team has been established on the competition Peer to Peer: Facebook Global Digital Challenge (P2P) which is managed by Edventure Partners (EVP) company. There are teams representing more than 50 countries in the competition. Azerbaijan is represented only by THE SAME team. Considering an increased number of online hate messages, Facebook sponsors the competition and supports the youth in the struggle against online hate speeches.
