On May 17, 2018, Nazim Rza, a film and television director, a screenwriter, a laureate of international and All-Soviet Union film festivals, guested on the lesson “History of Azerbaijan” conducted by Zahra Islamova, an instructor of the Department of History and Archaeology, for the students of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. First, Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, introduced Nazim Rza to the students. Then the lesson started with a presentation on Nazim Rza delivered by the students - Ayan Aghakishiyeva and Matin Almammadli. Then Nazim Rza took the floor and gave the students interesting information talking about the history of Azerbaijani oil industry as well as the books and movies produced by him. Students listened with great interest and asked questions.

At the end of the meeting, Nazim Rza presented his book “Fiery country” to the students.
