On May 16, 2018, a seminar on “Psychology of racism and discrimination” was conducted by Melek Kerimova, coordinator of the Department of Psychology and Director of the Psychological Service Center of Khazar University. The Seminar was held at Vision Academy on organizational support by Dr. Bahadir Baysal, coordinator of the Department of Economy and Management, and “THE SAME” team.

The seminar covered the following topics: 1) The reason for racism in human psychology; 2) The reasons for showing discrimination in order to achieve an aim; 3) The reason for desire to be superior to others and be in a better position in terms of race; 4) A question as to whether there is a relation between racism and self-realization; 5) The reason for expressing aggression through online hate messages.

At the end of the seminar, all the participants were certified.
