On April 22, 2018, football competition “Friendship Match” was held on initiatives of “THE SAME” team, which represents Khazar University in “P2P: Facebook Global Digital Challenge” competition. 12 young men demonstrated friendship and solidarity within the competition.

As it is obvious, football is not just a game, it is also a symbol of peace and friendship among nations. This competition demonstrates equality of all nations and races. Therefore, “THE SAME” team created a tolerant environment by gathering people of various races together. Amateur football players from Afghanistan, South Korea, Ethiopia, Gambia and Azerbaijan participated in this competition: Aman Nazari; Dawda Ndure; Fuad Ismayilov; Jaehun Chung; Jin Pyeong Kim; Kim Seongjeong; Moha Akhondzadeh; Murtaza Azali; Nihad Mehdiyev; Rob Haile; Togrul Tagizade; Waheed Muhammad.

THE SAME” team has been established by the students of the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University. The team is managed by “Edventure Partners (EVP)” company. The team participates in “P2P: Facebook Global Digital Challenge”, an international competition among universities. Teams from more than 50 countries participate in this competition in which “THE SAME” is the only team representing Azerbaijan.
