On April 13, 2018, Scientific Council of Khazar University held a meeting. Dr. Hassan Niknafs, rector of the university, chaired the meeting. Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of Economy and Management, Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Education, Vafa Aslanova, Vice-dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, reported on the graduate students.

Eldar Shahgaldiyev, Head of the Division for Graduate Students and Research, delivered information on dissertation topics of PhD students, approval of their supervisors and change of qualifications.

Irada Khalilova, Vice-rector for Research, delivered a report on the publication of textbooks and curricula as well as presentation of scientific degrees. Participants made decisions of issues under discussions and exchanged views on current issues.
