On March 30, 2018, a ceremony “Remember the genocide” dedicated to March 31 - Genocide of Azerbaijanis was held in the conference hall of Central Library, jointly organized by Cultural and Tourism Head Office of Baku City and Central Library of Centralized Library System of Nizami District. Khagan Balayev, instructor of Department of History and Archeology of Khazar University, students of Department of Education as well as students of school number 26, Khazar district, school number 12, Nizami district, and schools number 209 and 316, Surakhani district, also participated in the ceremony.

Sevil Aliyeva, Director of the library opened the ceremony and offered the floor to participants.

Khagan Balayev, PhD in Political Sciences and instructor of Department of History and Archeology of Khazar University, Murvat Ibrahimov, leading advisor of the Division of Political and Humanitarian Issues, Nizami District Executive Power, and Shamistan Nazirli, military journalist, delivered speeches on bloody genocide. Moreover, the audience welcomed İlaha Yusifli’s, the fourth-course student of Khazar University, speech with interest.

School students recited poems dedicated to the March genocide. Memory photos were taken at the end of the ceremony.
