Final technical presentation on “GSM-900 module gas sensor mobile phone call alert”, a startup project winner, was held at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications on March 14, 2018. This product consists of GSM modules and sensors, controlled by microcontroller and is sensitive to a gas leak, and sends alert to a mobile phone. The Coordinator of the project is Nuru Safarov, Head of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications. A team of 3 members, Mammad Alizadeh (Electronics Engineering), Adil Babayev (Electronics Engineering), and Laman Sefiyeva (Physics Teaching), worked on this project. The presentation was successful, and the new device is suitable for industrial and domestic use. The annunciator can be demonstrated in exhibitions where Khazar University participates. Moreover, inventors can offer the device to certain interested institutions.
