Professor Hamlet Isakhanli’s, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, 70^th birthday was commemorated at Khazar University on March 1, 2018. University staff welcomed Professor Hamlet Isakhanli in the conference hall singing a “Happy Birthday” song, accompanied by camera orchestra of Khazar University. 

Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector of the University, congratulated Hamlet Isakhanli on behalf of the university staff. Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Firangiz Nasirova, Head instructor of English Language and Literature Department, Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archeology, Afag Karimova, artist and instructor in carpet-weaving, and other staff members delivered speeches expressing their sincerest wishes. Elkhan Kasimov, a staff member of the University, presented Hamlet Isakhanli a painting that was painted by himself.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli expressed his gratitude to the participants.
