Mehmet Nuri Parmaksiz, chief executive of Scientific and Literary Work Owners' Association of Turkey ILESAM, and Khayal Rza, ILESAM representative in Azerbaijan and a spokesman of Azerbaijan Union of Writers, met Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and the university administration.

Dr. Hassan Niknafs, rector of the university, Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, vice rector of Khazar University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Isakhan Isakhanli, vice rector for Administration and Student Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, vice-rector for Research, participated at the meeting.

The issues of mutual interest were discussed and a memorandum of cooperation was signed at the meeting.
