Khazar University Founder and the Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli has been invited to the series of events dedicated to the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University’s 100^th Anniversary. Government representatives of Georgia, well-known public figures and scholars from abroad will take part in the events to be held on February 7-9.

Within the foreign delegation, today, Professor H.Isakhanli met with Georgian President H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili. During the talks, the Georgian President expressed his sympathy towards Khazar University and said that he had heard much about the University.

Later, Prof. Isakhanli talked with the Minister of Education of Georgia Dr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli about the state of education in Georgia and Azerbaijan, mutual cooperation ideas, education problems of Azerbaijani-speaking population of Georgia, and the interest and support of Khazar University in this regard.

In addition, Hamlet Isakhanli has initiated meetings with Georgia’s senior executives in education, including the president of its Academy of Sciences and the rectors of its universities, as well as the heads of foreign universities participating in the event.
