English Language and Literature department conducted two seminars on Applied Linguistics and Research Methodology led by Dr. Salahshour on Thursday November 23, 2017. During the seminars, application of linguistics to the field of English language teaching, which is very much relevant to mission and vision of Khazar university, was discussed in details. On the other hand, the guidelines for promotion of research works in the department were pointed out in a systematic PowerPoint presentations.

All the instructors of English Language and Literature Department together with MA students (1^st and 2^nd years of Translation and Linguistics) took part in the seminars. The seminars were attended by the interested researchers from different universities as well. Certificates of participation were issued for the registered applicants of the two seminars.

Furthermore, Dr. Salahshour supervised some of the research students.
