On October 31, 2017, a seminar on “The relationship between Religion and Science in Islamic Philosophy” was organized by the Department of Languages and Civilizations, Khazar University.

Dr. Hasan Ozalp, an Associate Professor of ‘Cumhuriyet University’ in Sivas, Turkey, spoke about the connection between religion and science. Mail Yagubov, Ph.D in Philosophy, an instructor of Philosophy at Khazar University also came up with interesting ideas concerning the subject.

The staff members of the Department of Languages and Civilizations, such as Elnura Azizova, Associate Professor and Ph.D in Religious Studies and Theology, Ziver Huseynli Baylan, Ph.D in Philology, Leman Aleskerova and the university students participated in the seminar.
