On October 20, 2017, the Student Council of Khazar University conducted a traditional Knowledge Competition dedicated to October 18^th - the Day of State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The 16 teams competed in the competition consisted of 3 rounds and it was played on ‘What? Where? When?’ concept. Each team consisted of 4 people.

Isakhan Isakhanli, vice rector for Administration and Student Affairs, opened the event with his introductory speech, congratulated the participants on the occasion of Independence Day of Azerbaijan Republic, and wished them success.

The event was also attended by Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director for Public Relations and Media and Jabir Mammadli, Coordinator of Journalism Department.

According to the results of the competition, the first three places were awarded with money prizes (1st place – 150 azn, 2nd place – 100 azn, and 3rd place – 50 azn) and the certificates were issued. The first three places were taken by the teams Handsome guys (1^st place), Bravos (2^nd place) and The Gang (3^rd place).
