On October 19, 2017, the Career Center of Khazar University organized a meeting of the former alumni (graduated from 1996-1997) with Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of the university, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli welcomed the graduates, expressed his pleasure to have met them again and emphasized that close links between Khazar University and the alumni would have very significant and useful results. Mammad Abbasbeyli, Head of ‘Primu Group LLC’, Yashar Iskandarov, Founder and Director of ‘GABEG Ltd’, Yusif Hajiyev, Director of ‘Barama K.M’ Company, Murad Aslanov, Manager of ‘Caspian Breeze Travel’ Tourism Company, Yusif Mammadli, ‘Bioworks’ Representative on the Caspian Region, Saadat Novruzova, employee of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Nasirov, manager of ‘General Electronics International’, Aydin Babayev, senior specialist of the Higher Education Development Department of the Azerbaijan Republic, as well as Nigar Abbasbeyli and Svetlana Askerova delivered a speech by giving extensive information about their activities, shared many memories of their student years. Firangiz Nasirova, Nabat Mammadova, Roza Arazova, who were first instructors of the graduates and Natella Barkaya, director of Khazar University Multimedia Center, said that they were happy and proud to have seen them together again after many years at Khazar. Ramal Ahmadov, Vice-President of the Khazar University Alumni Association, gave detailed information to the participants on the activities of the Association. During the meeting, which created the atmosphere of sincerity and business, concrete proposals were made to strengthen relations and establish a close cooperation with between the alumni and Khazar University. At the end, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli thanked the graduates for their sincere conversation, highlighting the importance of systematically working with university graduates and gave specific recommendations.
