On October 19, 2017, Madina Gulieva, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Science Association, a PhD student of University College London, held a seminar on "Nanotechnology in Medicine", organized by Khazar University Association of PhD and Master’s Studies, for the students of the university and conducted a discussion session with the listeners.

The seminar was attended by Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Dr Hassan Niknafs, rector of Khazar university and Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, vice rector for Research.
