On October 12, 2017, Assoc. Prof. Sevinj Agayeva, the instructor of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature, at the invitation of the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azerbaijan, attended the conference entitled "The role and importance of Persian language in the cultural and literary relations between Iran and Azerbaijan", organized on the occasion of the Iranian poet Hafiz Shirazi.
