On October 11, 2017, the training on Establishment of Joint Degree Programs within the framework of Technical Assistance Mission continued at Khazar University.

Annika Sundbäck-Lindroos, a program manager of National Education Agency of Finland, Anar Nagiyev, an expert of the Department of Accreditation and Nostrification of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dr. Isakhan Isakhanli, Vice President for Administration and Student Affairs, representatives of various universities of Azerbaijan as well as Khazar university staff participated in the event.

Anar Nagiyev, a senior expert of the Department of Accreditation and Nostrification, delivered a presentation on "Quality Assurance and Accreditation: Azerbaijan legislation" and answered the questions in details.

It should be noted that the purpose of the training was to provide the participants with the information on joint degree programs and their opportunities; to present successful examples from the region and Europe; to demonstrate practical details of the development process; to explain the minimum requirements for designing such programs, and to give important recommendations on creating them.
