A romance by composer Sevda Rahimova is one of the top 10 romance

In May, 2017, AzTV “Madaniyyat” channel and “Azerbaijan” radio held a competition between composers who composes music in romance genre. 10 pieces of romance were selected out of 100. One of the selected romance belongs to composer Sevda Rahimova, a teacher of “Dunya” school. She composed the selected romance for the poem “Either of us” by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees.

The selected 10 pieces of romance will be performed in gala concert in International Mugham Centre on October 17.
