On August 17, 2017, in the article ‘Which discounts will be made for students with paid education?’ released by avropa.info, vetenim.info, kanal15, guzgupress.com, kreditplaza.az, mia.az, reportyor.az, aia.az, pia.az and other websites, the following information was provided based on the responses received from Khazar University on the relevant discounts: ‘There are various financial support programs for the students at Khazar University. These are carried out as the tuition fee discounts, scholarships, etc. The students, who scored more than 500 on the entrance exams (the university has the right to cancel this concession if the student has GPA less than 85 based on the results of the first academic year); whose one or both parents work for Khazar University; whose two or more members of the family study at Khazar University; the ones deprived of both parents; who need financial aid as a result of an unexpected turnover at the time of study at the university (for example, a sudden loss of a parent, etc) are financially privileged.
