On 16 April 2017, the first round of Tax Olympiad, dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, was held among undergraduate and graduate students of the Azerbaijani higher education institutions in Azerbaijan State Economic University.

Fazil Faig Muzaffarov, the student of Economics and Management faculty of Khazar University successfully participated at the Olympiad and gained the right to the final round.
