On April 14, 2017 the meeting of the Khazar University Academic Council was held. The meeting was chaired by  Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University. 

 According to the agenda of the meeting reports were given by Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University, on general issues; by faculty Deans Hassan Niknafs, Jabir Khalilov and Elza Samadova as well as department chair Jeyhun Mammadov, on the topic of graduation; by Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev, Head of the Division for Graduate Students and Research, on scientific research and scientific advisors  of post-graduates, Nurida Gadirov`s,  instructor of the Department of History and Archeology at Khazar University,  being appointed assistant professor and related decisions were made.

Other current issues were also covered at the meeting.
