On April 10, 2017, Founder of Khazar University and the Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli met with Ms. Silvia Zimmerman, an Argentinian writer, student of the famous Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges. Ms. Zimmerman is also a board member of the Argentinian Chapter of the club of Rome. During the meeting, development of cultural ties between Argentina and Azerbaijan and the role of Khazar University in it were discussed.

Consul Mr. Eduardo Cavallero and Ms. Turan Jafarova, Director of the International Affairs Office of Khazar University also participated in the meeting and talked about partnership between universities in Argentina and Azerbaijan.
