On May 3, 2016, pupils of School number 245 visited Khazar University. Opening the event, Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University, greeted the pupils and gave them detailed information about the university. Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice President of Khazar University for Academic Affairs, spoke about academic programs. Other faculty members and Khazar representatives who spoke to the students about advantages of Khazar included Dr. Elza Semedli, Dean of the School of Education; Dr. Ingilab Ahmadov, Dean of the School of Economics and Management; Associate Professor Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Tahir Chegini, Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering; and Tarag Al-Hamidi, international student from Yemen.

Then Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director for Public Relations and Media, gave the pupils a tour of the university. They viewed the Library-Information Center, Psychology Center, Center for Eurasia and Middle East Studies, Civil Engineering Laboratory, Carpet Museum, TIKA room, Marble Hall and other places. They listened to a performance of the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra in the Cultural Center. Then they were served tea. Rubaba Ahmadova, representative of the school, thanked the Khazar University administration on behalf of the school collective.
