On 16 October 2024, the Pre-COP29 international symposium on "Connecting Education, Public Health & Sustainable Development" will be organized by Khazar University

The event aims to bring together participants, educators, scholars, health professionals, researchers, students, and policymakers from around the world to attend the symposium and discuss the challenges and solutions related to combating and adapting to climate change for sustainable development.

During the event, students will showcase their art projects on climate change.

The area of focus is not only the riparian countries around the Caspian Sea but also the symposium has a clear Global scope.

The symposium will cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, the following:

Climate Change and Best Practices in Water Management
Climate Changes and Natural Hazards
Health Impacts of Short-lived Climate Forces and Greenhouse Gases
Advanced Technologies in The Reduction of Greenhouse Gases
