Summer School in Biotechnology, a Joint Initiative of Khazar University and the Neuroscience Platform

We are pleased to invite you to the Summer School program, a unique opportunity where science meets innovation. This intensive course, jointly organized by Khazar University and the Neuroscience Platform, offers participants a comprehensive introduction to Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, and Biotechnology—both in theory and through hands-on practical sessions.Throughout the program, attendees will receive guidance and mentorship from leading experts with extensive academic and research experience in their respective fields.

Participants will engage in a dynamic and interactive learning environment designed to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. The program culminates in a Hackathon, where teams will develop and present innovative biotechnological solutions to real-world challenges.Certificates will be awarded to outstanding participants of the program.

Trainers :

Abdul Etibaroghlu – President of the Neuroscience Platform; currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Boğaziçi University.

Dr. Aygun Israyilova – Microbiologist, Fulbright Scholar; faculty member at Baku State University, specializing in microbiology and active in research.

Nurlan Amrahov – Plant Biotechnologist; researcher and lecturer at Baku State University.
