Candidates seeking admission to doctoral studies and applicants studying in doctoral studies are announced to register for the exam on foreign languages, as well as for the Azerbaijani language exam for foreigners.

The State Examination Center announces the registration of candidates for the foreign language entrance exam for doctoral and dissertation programs for the 2024/2025 academic year, from May 20 to 27, 2024. Additionally, following the "Rules for Conducting Doctor of Philosophy Examinations" approved by the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 29, 2020, the center will accept candidates who are currently studying or have completed doctoral, dissertation, and adjunct studies in a foreign language. The center also announces the registration for foreigners and stateless persons to participate in the Azerbaijani language exams for doctoral studies.

The foreign language exam will be held on June 9, 2024, both for candidates who want to be admitted to doctoral studies, and for candidates who are studying for doctoral studies. The Azerbaijani language exam for foreigners for doctoral and dissertation programs will be held on June 10. It is planned to hold the exam for the speaking block on June 11-14.
