Khazar University’s Chemical Engineering students demonstrate strong interest in extracurricular activities. The Chemical Engineering Society creates an academic and professional platform where students can deepen their understanding of the field and connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
The Society supports students in exploring different areas of chemical engineering, including laboratory practices, industrial processes, materials, energy, environmental technologies, safety procedures, and sustainable production. A key feature of the Society is its close connection with the Department of Chemical Engineering. Students have opportunities to become more engaged in research projects conducted by the Department, observe research processes, support project-related activities, and develop an early understanding of academic inquiry and experimental work.
The Society’s activities include field-related discussions, laboratory-based activities, meetings with specialists, student presentations, and awareness sessions on current developments in chemical engineering. Through these activities, students develop practical skills, analytical thinking, teamwork, professional communication, and problem-solving abilities relevant to their future careers.
