The Student Environmental Awareness Society at Khazar University is a student-led initiative dedicated to strengthening campus life by promoting environmental awareness and sustainable habits. The Society works to build a culture of responsibility and active participation, encouraging students and academic staff to adopt environmentally friendly practices in everyday university life.

Through practical campaigns, educational activities, and community engagement, the Society supports the University’s broader sustainability goals and contributes to reducing the environmental footprint of campus operations.

Objectives

1. Promote a greener campus — Initiate awareness campaigns and practical actions that contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable, and environmentally responsible campus environment.

2. Encourage sustainable everyday choices — Motivate students to reflect on the environmental impact of daily habits, including waste reduction, energy saving, and responsible consumption, and support greener decision-making.

3. Strengthen sustainability culture and commitment — Increase understanding of shared sustainability goals and inspire long-term engagement through collaboration, learning, and collective action across the university community.
