On April 10, 2022, Graduate School of Economics and Business of Khazar University organized an excursion for MBA students to the mud volcanoes in Gobustan led by lecturer Polad Orujov.

The students were informed about the infrastructure, mud volcanoes, as well as the Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve during a field study, the purpose of which is to analyze the potential multiplier effect of the Mud Volcanoes tourist complex being built in the area.
