Khazar University and Bulgaria's Varna Free University "Черноризец Храбър" signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the development of academic cooperation on June 13, 2026.

The memorandum was signed by Dr. Razia Isaeva, Rector of Khazar University, and Professor Petar Hristov, Rector of Varna Free University, during the official opening ceremony of the new academic building and modern teaching clinic of Khazar University's Hasvet School of Veterinary Medicine.

The aim is to expand academic ties between the two higher education institutions, promote faculty and student exchange, carry out joint educational and scientific research projects, and strengthen cooperation in international programs and projects.

The Memorandum of Understanding signed with Varna Free University constitutes an important part of Khazar University's international cooperation strategy and will create additional opportunities for developing ties between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in the field of higher education and science, as well as for launching new academic and scientific initiatives.
