On June 22, 2026, the Rector of Khazar University, Dr. Razia Isaeva, took part in Baku in the closing ceremony of the project "Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Language Training Program: Arabic Language in Central Asia and the Caucasus," implemented jointly by the Baku Regional Office of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation.
At the ceremony, Dr. Abdulhakeem Fahad AlSenan, Director of the ICESCO Baku Regional Office; Saleh Ibrahim Al-Khulaifi, General Director of the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation; Majdi Haji Ibrahim, Head of the ICESCO Center for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers; and Farrukh Jumayev, Head of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Secretary General of the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for ICESCO, delivered remarks, providing information on the program's results and its contribution to the development of cooperation in the field of education in the region.
As part of the event, a video reel dedicated to the implementation of the project was screened, and a group photo reflecting the successful completion of the program was taken.
The project represents an important contribution to strengthening cooperation in the field of education among the countries of the region, promoting intercultural dialogue, and advancing the teaching of the Arabic language.
