"Bir" and Khazar University Join Forces for Professionals of Future

A memorandum of cooperation was signed on June 29, 2026, between the "Bir" ecosystem and Khazar University, with the aim of supporting student development, preparing students for the labor market, and strengthening university-business collaboration.

Within the framework of the cooperation, internship programs, mentorship support, and professional development training will be provided for students. This will enable students to apply the knowledge gained at university in a real work environment, gain a closer understanding of the business world, and enter their future careers better prepared.

Farid Hidayatzade, official representative of the "Bir" ecosystem, emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation between universities and businesses in training professionals who meet the needs of the labor market: "We believe that a good specialist begins to take shape in the classroom and develops in professional life. That is why we regard our collaboration with higher education institutions not as an internship program, but as an investment in the professionals of the future. Currently, 48 graduates of Khazar University are employed within the 'Bir' ecosystem, 14 of whom hold managerial positions. This figure is one of the best indicators of the potential cultivated at the university. I am confident that our cooperation will bring more talented young people into the labor market."

Dr. Razia Isaeva, Rector of Khazar University, stated that real work experience is just as important for students today as theoretical knowledge. She noted that partnerships established between universities and businesses enable young people to gain a closer understanding of the business world, make their future career choices with greater confidence, and realize their potential more readily. Rector R. Isaeva expressed her confidence that the cooperation with the "Bir" ecosystem will open new development and career opportunities for students.

It should be noted that the "Bir" ecosystem continuously implements projects aimed at the professional development of young people. The ecosystem currently collaborates with 14 higher education institutions in this regard, and to date more than 2,700 students have participated in various internship programs. The goal is to create a foundation for young people to gain a closer understanding of the real work environment, acquire practical experience, and enter their future careers better prepared.
