On December 9, 2020, the next monitoring meeting of the Erasmus+ PAWER project, a partnership of Khazar University and completed in March 2020, was held by the organization of the Azerbaijan National Erasmus + Office. The meeting was also attended by another partner of the project from our country - an employee of the Baku Engineering University. The purpose of the monitoring meeting was to check the work done at the partner universities after the completion of the project and how to ensure the sustainability of the project.
The meeting was opened by Parviz Baghirov, Head of the National Erasmus+ Office, and chaired by Zafar Hasanov, Monitoring and Promotion Officer of the National Erasmus+ Office. Employees of both universities answered questions about the project, noted that the work done to ensure the sustainability of the project after March and the obstacles due Covid-19 pandemic caused delays in some work. However, despite these difficulties, the importance of the project for the university and students, as well as information about future work were brought to the attention of the monitoring members. In addition, the project partners informed that the documents prepared within the project, reports on the work done were sent to the project coordinator, and the coordinator, in turn, praised all the reports and posted them on the project website. The managers of the National Erasmus + Office considered the work done so far for the sustainability of the project satisfactory and positively assessed the emergence of new project ideas from the discussions. It should be noted that Khazar University was represented at the monitoring meeting by the Director and staff of the Development Center.
