On November 15, 2024, Dr. Jamala Eldarova, Head of the Life Sciences Department, participated in the "Climate Management School" organized by Sumgayit State University and Oxford University (Saïd Business School). Along with Khazar University, senior representatives from other higher education institutions, as well as representatives from the industrial sector and government agencies also attended the event.

The purpose of organizing the school was to propose new approaches to solving environmental problems, and to promote and discuss effective strategies in climate governance.
