The article by Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy at Khazar University entitled “National identity: I am the state” has been published in the “Imgelem” Journal (Special Issue of Uzbekistan, Page 449-458, 2024). 

The article focuses on how the concept of national identity is shaped in the context of Azerbaijan, highlights the importance of national identity to manage diversity and foster equal recognition within societies, and emphasizes that national identities emerged as tools for social cohesion and governance.
