Rovshan Abbasov, the director of Khazar University's Ecological Research Center, actively participated in a worldwide workshop hosted in Cambridge, Great Britain, with around 100 representatives from 26 countries in attendance from November 28 to December 1.

The central focus of the workshop centered on introducing the "National Ecosystem Assessments" project facilitated by UNEP WCMC. In his presentation, Abbasov, representing Khazar University, discussed "National Ecosystem Assessments in Azerbaijan" and fielded questions from the audience.

Notably, Rovshan Abbasov, director of the Ecological Research Center, assumed a key role in the project as a lead author, guiding the preparation of the National Ecosystem Assessment report.
