In the 52nd edition of the International Journal of Language and Literature, published in South Korea, the head of the Department of Languages and Literatures, Assoc. Prof. Dilbar Zeynalova published a research article about Hamlet Isakhanli's work "My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot".
In the article entitled "Karabakh Discourse in Prose", it is noted that documentary prose, as a type of fiction, embodies historical processes and existing problems in the social and political life of society based on real facts. In the work of H. Isakhanli, it is shown on the basis of specific examples that the writing technique of documentary prose is used - self-reference mechanisms, and when remembering any historical event, he places it in a certain semantic context. The article emphasizes that the work "My Karabakh or the Karabakh Knot" brought a new poetic-publicistic intonation to Azerbaijani prose and gave impetus to the development of documentary prose.
It should be noted that the 52nd edition of the mentioned journal is dedicated to "Karabakh theme in Azerbaijani literature". The project was carried out thanks to the joint cooperation of the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund with the International Language and Literature Association, one of the important scientific research centers of the Republic of Korea, within the framework of the "Year of Shusha".
